Electricity Production 2011: Top Ten Nuclear Power Plants

German nuclear power plants achieved four of the world´s ten best production results in 2011. German plants have been occupying the top spots in electricity production for decades thus providing an impressive demonstration of their efficiency, availability and reliability.

Top of the table was the Isar 2 nuclear power plant with an annual production of 12.306 billion kWh. The Emsland, Neckarwestheim II and Philippsburg 2 nuclear power plants occupied fourth to sixth place.
