Nuclear Power Plants Worldwide

33 Countries Worldwide Rely on Nuclear Energy (As of 12/2016)

In December 2016, there were 450 nuclear power plants with an installed gross electrical output of 419 GWe in operation in 31 countries and 58 nuclear power plants with a gross electrical output of 62 GWe under construction in 15 countries.

In the European Union (EU-28), there were 129 nuclear power plants in operation at the end of the year 2016 .
